Ring of cambium is formed in dicot stem

Black medick (Medicago lupulina) stem (a dicot) showing early development of the interfascicular cambium. While the tissue is sometimes difficult to trace from one vascular bundle to the next, the region of small, thin-walled cells is clearly found in alignment with the fascicular cambium.
